Prime Minister Ana Brnabic has arrived in Katowice, Poland, where she will attend a UN conference on climate change today.
The main goal of the conference is the completion of work on the adoption of the guidelines for the implementation of the Paris Agreement for the reduction of emission of gases with greenhouse effect.
The conference gathers a large number of heads of state and government from all over the world.
At the opening of the event, the officials were greeted by the hosts, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and President of Poland Andrzej Duda.
Before the beginning of the conference, Brnabic spoke with World Bank Director Kristalina Georgieva, with presidents of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen, Bulgaria Rumen Radev and Slovenia Borut Pahor, Secretary of State at the Polish Ministry of Energy Michal Kurtyka and with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte.
