Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic spoke today with Head of the World Bank Office in Serbia Stephen Ndegwa about the new investment cycle and the capital projects that Serbia will implement.

They also discussed the reform of the road and rail sectors and the project of removing the non-physical barriers for the improvement of trade and the economy.
Mihajlovic informed Ndegwa that the government has prepared a new budget for 2019, and that the most important part concerns capital investments, and that next year the realisation of eight major projects in the road sector will begin, as well as the construction and reconstruction of 310 kilometres of railroads.
We are completing Corridor 10, the works on Corridor 11 are also drawing to an end and we are launching a new investment cycle worth €5 billion, she said and added that the construction of the Nis-Pristina motorway is about to begin soon, as well as of the Moravian Corridor, which will connect the corridors 10 and 11.
Ndegwa said that the World Bank appreciates everything that has been done so far in the reform processes, which is why our country can count on the support of this institution in the future.
