At the formal ceremony held at the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad where the institute celebrated the jubilee - 80 years of existence, Brnabic pointed out that there are few scientific institutions that can boast a long tradition and modern business.
That is why the Serbian government proclaimed this institute the institution of national importance in May, the Prime Minister underlined and noted that owing to the several decades of work of generations of scientists, the varieties and hybrids produced in Serbia are present in more than 30 countries, and seed products "NS seed" a recognisable export product.
