Prime Minister Ana Brnabic stated late today that she had several important talks and meetings at the “Bloomberg Global” business forum in New York.
In a statement to Television Pink, Brnabic expressed her satisfaction that this time she personally met Michael Bloomberg, and explained that the meeting had two main themes - free trade and digitisation.
Free trade, as she said, is important at a time when many seek protectionism, and also the question of what we can do as a world to return the focus on free trade again, because this is the best way to develop world competitiveness.
The Prime Minister pointed out that it is good that she had the opportunity to talk with the Minister of Finance of Canada, given her planned visit to that country, which would create the conditions to strengthen the bilateral ties between the two countries, especially because our diaspora there is strong.
Brnabic also spoke with the President of Slovakia, which she plans to visit in December along the Czech Republic.
We spoke a bit about this and about particularly close ties with Slovakia, which has refused to recognise the independent Kosovo and respects Serbia’s territorial integrity, the Prime Minister underlined.
