Serbia, Republika Srpska sign cultural cooperation agreement

Serbian Minister of Culture Dragan Kojadinovic and his counterpart from Republika Srpska Milovan Pecelj signed today in Banja Luka an agreement on cultural and educational cooperation, which should confirm the traditionally good and rich cultural cooperation.
The agreement envisages cooperation between archives, institutes for cultural, historical and natural heritage, libraries, museums, cinemas, theatres, galleries and movie companies. It also includes promotion of works of art and cooperation in combating illegal trade of cultural goods.
A joint committee will be tasked with implementation of the agreement and financial issues related to it, and will meet in Republika Srpska and Serbia.
