Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and Prime Minister of the Government of Vojvodina Igor Mirovic visited today, on the occasion of the beginning of a new school year, the "Ceh Karolj" elementary school in Ada, which was completely reconstructed with the joint funds of the Serbian and Vojvodina governments.

Brnabic said that during the summer holiday the reconstruction of 18 schools across Serbia has been completed, one of which is this school in Ada, in whose reconstruction RSD 82 million were invested.
This school has been reconstructed for the first time after more than one hundred years and this is a very important day because education is among our highest priorities, she said.
The Prime Minister wished all pupils, especially the first graders, a happy start of the new school year on behalf of the Serbian government, she wished them to study hard and make friends with their fellow pupils, to respect their teachers as well as their peers.
Mirovic underlined that the Vojvodina government is working on the reconstruction of schools throughout Vojvodina, but also on numerous other projects aimed at strengthening education in all its segments.
Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Mladen Sarcevic announced that this school year will be a year of reforms, as the total process of education will be enriched and improved.
Speaker of the Vojvodina parliament Istvan Pastor expressed his special gratitude for the fact that representatives of the state and provincial governments are present today in Ada on the occasion of the beginning of the new school year, which sends a very strong message to parents and children and to the general public.
