Brnabic to attend OECD conference in Paris

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic will pay a one-day visit to Paris on 4 September, where she will take part in a conference of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
Brnabic will speak at the panel on blockchain technology, which is the central topic of the conference. Blockchain technology is globally recognised as one of the most important new technologies in the world.
The panel will also feature the prime ministers of Mauritius and Bermuda.
The Prime Minister will then meet with OECD Secretary-General Jose Angel Gurria.
Although Serbia is not a member of this prestigious organization, Brnabic will talk with Gurria about economic reforms, investments and development projects in Serbia.
The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development was established in 1961 with the aim of promoting the principles of the rule of law, democracy and market economy.
Today, the main goals of this influential organization are to provide a fast pace of economic growth and high levels of employment in member states, as well as to stimulate and coordinate the assistance of OECD member countries to developing countries.
Today, the organization is made up of 36 developed member states and its headquarters are in Paris.
On the margins of the conference, the Prime Minister will meet with Prime Minister of the Republic of Mauritius Pravind Jugnauth.
The two interlocutors will discuss improving co-operation in all areas, and Brnabic will express gratitude to this friendly country that has not recognized Kosovo's unilaterally declared independence and has a consistent position on this issue.
The panel will also feature the prime ministers of Mauritius and Bermuda.
