Prime Minister to officially close New York Stock Exchange today

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic will today close the New York Stock Exchange with a traditional bang.
After that, Brnabic will meet with New York Stock Exchange President Stacey Cunningham, who in May this year was appointed as the first woman president of the New York Stock Exchange since its inception 226 years ago.
In 1995, the New York Stock Exchange introduced a tradition of regular inviting high-ranking officials who have the honour to mark the start and end of the stock market, including politicians, celebrities, businessmen, and representatives of international organisations and citizens.
The New York Stock Exchange was visited by a large number of world leaders and politicians, including Nelson Mandela, Kofi Annan, former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar, former Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and others.
