Prime Minister Ana Brnabic will be on an official visit to the United Stated at the end of July, which will be her first visit to this country in the capacity of the Prime Minister.
In Washington, Brnabic will attend the marking of 100 years since the raising of the Serbian flag in front of the White House.
This jubilee will be marked with a series of events which will be held in the capital of the United States on 25-28 July.
Brnabic will host a ceremony that will be held at the building of US Congress on the occasion of this jubilee.
The first time that the Serbian flag was raised on the White House was on 28 July 1918. The then US President Woodrow Wilson, at the 4th anniversary of Austro-Hungary’s declaration of war to Serbia, issued a statement to the American people in which he highlighted the courage of the Serbian people to stand up against a more numerous enemy in the fight for freedom and independence.
Brnabic will have several meetings with US officials and with representatives of international institutions and companies with headquarters in the United States.
