Prime Minister Ana Brnabic today together with the ministers and representatives of the City of Belgrade, in the programme of cleaning the coast of Sava Lake, near the mouth of the Topcider River, on the occasion of the World Environmental Protection Day.
Brnabic emphasised that the Serbian government in this way wants to give citizens the opportunity to clean the country, which is not a shame, that it is a kind of patriotism and that it is important to preserve a clean Serbia for future generations.
She pointed out that Chapter 27 deals with ecology and will be one of the most difficult and the most expensive ones in the process of European integration, and added that environmental protection is important primarily because of our country and the generations to come.
I ask all citizens that, as we are collecting plastic bottles here today, they do the same, because of the fact that all of us will depend on how our country will look like, Brnabic pointed out.
