Linking of countries of region crucial for European integration

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said yesterday that our country was presented in the best possible way at the Western Balkans Summit in Sofia yesterday, and that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received the floor immediately after the presentation of Chairman of the European Council Donald Tusk and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker.

In her statement to Television N1, Brnabic pointed out that this shows how much space has been given to Serbia.
She added that this is the first time that the World Economic Forum follows the enlargement agenda and the Berlin process significantly, because the Western Balkan region is better connected and joins the EU, but not as a region, but as individual countries.
The Prime Minister pointed out that linking is necessary for achieving the standards of the countries of the European Union.
I think that Serbia can now expect more money from EU funds, but our primary focus must be to build up our capacities and to have as many quality projects as possible, said the Prime Minister, adding that Serbia is growing, but it is still not ready to accept much larger funds.
