Importance of new technologies in study of cultural heritage

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic spoke today with Chair of the National Coordinators' Committee of the Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities (DARIAH-EU) Toma Tasovac about the importance of new technologies in the study of cultural heritage.
Brnabic congratulated the Belgrade Centre for Digital Humanities, which recently, as part of a consortium involving institutions from 15 countries, won a grant from the Horizon 2020 programme worth €5 million for the construction of the European lexicon infrastructure.
The Prime Minister pointed out that the Serbian government intensively supports digitization, primarily as a prerequisite for the development of an efficient state administration, but also as the intention of Serbian society to become a society of innovation and creativity in the future.
