Improvement of friendly relations, economic cooperation with UAE

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic received today newly-appointed Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Serbia Mubarak Aldhaheri and positively assessed the overall bilateral cooperation between the two states.

Brnabic welcomed the new ambassador and expressed her confidence that they will work together to improve friendly relations and economic cooperation in the mutual interest, pointing out that Serbia and the United Arab Emirates are already implementing more successful joint projects than before.
The UAE Ambassador recognised new opportunities for cooperation in the fields of energy, construction and tourism, and expressed expectation that the number of investors from the United Arab Emirates who want to operate in Serbia will increase.
The interlocutors agreed that the introduction of a direct airline greatly contributed to the rapprochement of the two countries, peoples and cultures and opened up new possibilities for cooperation.
