Brnabic said that in this region, primarily through the Public Investment Office, projects are being implemented in the field of school and health infrastructure, which are progressing well, but she also wanted to discuss other priority projects for Zajecar.
She said that the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government has announced a call for financing projects of local self-government units, which lasts until 15 March, for which RSD 320 million have been allocated, of which 80 percent is foreseen for utility infrastructure projects.
Brnabic underlined that balanced regional development is very important, recalling that the previous government focused on the south of central Serbia and Nis, and that the current focus is on other cities, like Kragujevac and Loznica.
We are trying to bring bigger investors, but also to draw attention to local self-governments to encourage entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises at the local level, the Prime Minister said, adding that new credit lines for entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises will be opened.
