Serbia committed to strengthening regional cooperation

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic assessed today during the talks with Commissioner for Human Rights of the Council of Europe Nils Muiznieks that that organisation has the mechanisms to contribute to the promotion of human rights and the preservation of democracy in accordance with its mandate to a greater extent.
Brnabic pointed out that Serbia is committed to strengthening regional cooperation and highlighted the importance of resolving the issue of missing persons, as well as strengthening the capacities of competent state institutions in this area.
The Prime Minister reiterated that the Serbian government and she personally condemn all attacks and threats addressed to media representatives and stressed that state authorities, in accordance with their jurisdiction, will work quickly and efficiently to resolve these cases.
