Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said today during a conversation with new geodetic surveyors at the Serbian Geodetic Survey that the updating of the address register in Serbia will bring order in the country, which will allocate about €5 million for this project.
Brnabic pointed out that, according to estimates, more than three million citizens have registered residence in streets without a specific home number, of whom more than two million were registered at addresses for which no street name was specified.
The updating of the address register is another major step towards the modernisation of the state administration in Serbia so that citizens and companies could receive efficient and easily accessible services provided by the state, the Prime Minister stated.
