Opening the conference on Serbia’s cultural and natural heritage, Kojadinovic spoke about the necessity to implement new management along with a completely different approach to preserving heritage, which will be one of the highlights of the ministry’s policy.
UK Ambassador to Serbia-Montenegro David Gowan said that his country is founder of the Fund for Cultural and Natural Heritage Programme for South Eastern Europe, created with the aim of developing long-term contacts with a view of improving the heritage.
Gowan said that Serbia has a lot to offer in terms of cultural and natural heritage on the global level.
The conference has been organised by the British Council and the Yustat association. Participants include representatives of cultural and natural heritage institutions from Belgrade, Novi Sad, Nis, Kragujevac, Subotica, Krusevac and other cities in Serbia.
