Brnabic told reporters in Belgrade that Chapter 24 is lighter than Chapter 23, in which we are late with some things, because it deals with issues that are most important, and that is, as she added, constitutional reforms.
She recalled that since the spring the Ministry of Justice launched a wide-ranging dialogue with NGOs and prosecutors, and reiterated that constitutional reform is a condition for Chapter 23 and the basis for everything that needs to be achieved in this chapter.
The Prime Minister announced that this will be in the focus of the government of Serbia in 2018, with the remark that on 1 December, a public debate on the Personal Data Protection Bill was launched and will last until 15 January, while the debate on the draft law on free legal aid has been completed.
