Brnabic said that this is a very important conference that is growing year-in-year-out and thanked the mayor of Belgrade, Sinisa Mali, for its organisation.
Belgrade is a fantastic investment destination. We want to present Serbia, which has invested a lot in its development over the past three or four years, she stressed.
The Prime Minister stated that Serbia has good macroeconomic and fiscal results.
Now we can continue to build and this government can finally invest in much more dynamic development, the Prime Minister emphasised.
Brnabic said that regional stability and regional integration are very important because if the region is not stable, Serbia will not be able to benefit from everything that has been done so far.
If we have any risks in the region, we will be viewed as a country that is a risky destination. Investors will not come and international financial institutions will not invest in projects so much with soft loans, and that is why it is important that we are together here, that the region is working together on its connection and common prosperity, Brnabic pointed out.
Apart from the presentation of the investment potentials of Belgrade and Serbia, the forum also has working character, so B2B will be organised (business to business) meetings, especially meetings with companies and investors who want to talk directly about possible forms of cooperation.
The focus of this year's, the third in a row, Belgrade Investment Days will be on regional cooperation and networking. The forum has brought together about 400 statesmen from the country and the region, leaders and representatives of local and foreign companies, state institutions, local self-governments, who will discuss investment in the region and opportunities for better trade cooperation.
“Belgrade Investment Days 2017”, held at Sava Centre, is organised by the City of Belgrade, CEDEF and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
