Participating in a panel discussion with representatives and members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Serbia, Brnabic stressed that without that there is no dynamic future for all of us.
She recalled that the previous government has taken very difficult, unpopular and painful measures to stabilize Serbia, primarily in economic terms, with the expectation that this year will end with public debt in the amount of 62 to 63 percent of GDP.
With more restrictive measures, the government has managed to achieve growth, attract more foreign investors, support domestic businesses to expand, which is why we have a reduction in unemployment, the Prime Minister explained.
Brnabic said that all draft laws will be put to public debate and called on companies and society to work together with the government in order to avoid that the laws are too much burdened with bureaucracy.
The dialogue between the government and the economy is the only way for the country to move forward rapidly, the Prime Minister stressed, expressing the expectation that this government will be even more open than the previous one and will listen to what companies and civil society organizations have to say about the problems they are facing in order to solve them faster and more efficiently.
