Serbia regional leader in solving issue of missing persons

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said today during the talks with Director-General of the International Committee of the Red Cross Yves Daccord that Serbia is ready to make great efforts to solve the issue of missing persons, but that it expects the countries of the region that face the same problem to show more willingness to cooperate.
Brnabic said that the problem of the missing is the region's reality and that the Serbian government is ready to provide any type of assistance to this organisation in order to properly address the issue.
Daccord said that Serbia is the leader in the region when it comes to solving difficult and sensitive situations, and explained that in the coming days the delegation of the Red Cross will also visit other countries in the region and talk about this issue with government representatives, associations of missing persons and families.
He praised the efforts and courage that Serbia has shown in resolving the migrant crisis.
