First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic received today a political-business delegation of the federal state of Maryland, led by Secretary of State John Wobensmith, which is on a visit to Serbia.
Dacic stated that Serbia is interested in intensifying all forms of cooperation with the United States, especially in the field of the economy and further attraction of American investments.
The delegation from Maryland expressed satisfaction with their visit to Serbia, during which they will visit Belgrade, Novi Sad and Nis.
They conveyed interest of this American federal state to do business and make investments in the field of environmental protection in Serbia.
The meeting was also attended by Minister of Environmental Protection Goran Trivan and Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Branko Ruzic, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
