In a joint address with Prime Minister of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina Igor Mirovic, Brnabic pointed out that the planned projects are modernisation of Novi Sad, Vojvodina and Serbia, and announced assistance to farmers to mitigate the effects of drought.
The focus is the completion of the projects started, as well as the construction of the irrigation system, she said, and recalled that the realisation of 14 such projects, covering 50,000 hectares of arable land, has started.
According to Brnabic, so far our country has only had three percent of the agricultural land covered by the irrigation system, which is very little.
The Prime Minister underlined that the projects that have launched have to be completed within deadline, such as the building of Radio-Television of Vojvodina, the National Museum in Subotica, the Scientific and Technological Innovation Park and others.
Also, she added, it is of national significance that Serbia show itself in the best light in 2019, when Novi Sad will be the youth capital of Europe.
The Prime Minister did not want to comment on the amount of salary increases and pensions, but added that official information could be expected around 14 October.
Mirovic noted that this is a policy of gathering around projects and the policy of political continuity with the previous government.
