Brnabic said that human resources are our greatest potential and strength and underlined that she has great expectations from the National Academy of Public Administration, which should be established in the middle of next year.
She recalled that the Bill on the National Academy of Public Administration has been forwarded to the Serbian Parliament and that it will be on the parliament’s agenda on 3 October.
The work on this law is a big step for all of us, since its adoption has been waiting for more than ten years, she stressed, adding that this academy should include all local self-governments which, unfortunately, have often neglected human resources management.
Brnabic recalled that while at the position of Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, she insisted on the speedy work on that law, expressing the gratitude to the Permanent Conference of Cities and Municipalities (SKGO), which has been working on human resources management for years.
The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the American Chamber in Serbia and the business community who, with their knowledge on human resources, helped in achieving the set goals.
The project of human resources management is a good example of cooperation of public administration, local self-government, international organisations and private sector, she said.
