After the Forum on Harmonisation of the Business Conditions in South East Europe, Brnabic pointed to the special closeness with Republika Srpska within the framework of regional cooperation.
Infrastructure and economic connectivity is for Serbia especially important, she said, adding that many projects are planned, but also that the Ljubovija-Bratunac bridge stands out as a symbolic one.
Soon I expect to see progress in opening a border crossing point in order to fully utilise this important infrastructure project, she said.
According to Brnabic, the goal is to carry out all the activities within the Berlin Process, which is one of the mechanisms for easier infrastructure and economic integration of the region.
The Prime Minister said that from the businessmen present at the forum came out with concrete proposals on what could be done together with Republika Srpska, but also on economic integration.
Brnabic pointed out to what NALED has been doing for several years and that is an example of how we can connect regionally, referring to the certification of municipalities with a favourable business environment in the region of Southeast Europe, where Serbia, Republika Srpska, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia and Montenegro are involved while the negotiating is underway with Albania.
Republika Srpska Prime Minister Zeljka Cvijanovic said that much can be done by joint efforts, such as a whole range of infrastructure projects.
They are very important because without such infrastructure we cannot even think about business, tourism or anything else, assessed Cvijanovic.
