On that occasion, Brnabic congratulated Yumco for 57 years of existence, stressing that this company is returning to the path of old success.
According to Brnabic, this famous manufacturer is becoming a part of Serbia's defence system and has huge potential for export, as well as our entire military industry.
Brnabic reminded that Yumco is already producing for the military and police systems of Italy, Finland, Germany and other countries, and expressed the belief that it will be present in other markets and will contribute to the development of Vranje, the south and the whole of Serbia.
She expressed her gratitude to the mayor of Vranje, stressing that it is important that all local governments support their factories and help them, provide space, ensure easier and more efficient administration.
I am proud of Yumco, the Prime Minister said, and emphasised that this company has fantastic products that meet world standards.
The new plant will produce protective ballistic equipment, such as vests, gloves and boards.
After that, the Prime Minister pressed the button to put into operation a new packaging line at the British American Tobacco (BAT) factory, which invested more than €3 million.
