Brnabic underlined that this battle continues not only through this action, but also through the introduction of informatics as a compulsory subject, networking schools, equipment procurement and teacher education.
This battle is part of a larger action that the government of Serbia supports and in which we are assisted by socially responsible business people, without which we could not network schools or get equipment, she said.
The Prime Minister expressed her special gratitude to the teachers from the schools who received the donation for applying to participate in the action, as they showed that they wanted to make something more than the basic plan and programme.
They show responsibility towards the profession and the desire to teach children to think analytically, solve problems, not be afraid to make decisions, and learn from mistakes and move on, Brnabic stressed.
The Prime Minister expressed her special gratitude to the donor – Ostoja Miajlovic, a businessman from Cacak, and invited other businessmen to join the campaign, adding that she was particularly pleased that the schools from Kosovo-Metohija also expressed their desire for participation in the action. It is also important to help the children from Kosovo, she said.
We will continue the battle for knowledge, but without a social consensus we cannot move on as a society, Brnabic concluded.
