Serbia leading in activities to improve regional cooperation

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic today talked with US Ambassador to Serbia Kyle Scott about further improvement of regional cooperation and previous activities of Serbia on this plan.

Brnabic said she is satisfied with the progress of the Berlin process, adding that, thanks to this progress, the trade problem with Croatia at the regional level was recently successfully resolved.
She added that Serbia received regional support for Belgrade to be the seat of the Transport Community of Southeast Europe, which she assessed as another good indicator of the development of cooperation and contribution to regional stability.
Scott expressed satisfaction with the way in which Serbia is taking care about refugees, especially children of migrants who have been involved in pre-school education in Serbia since this year.
He pointed out that the United States continues to work on the anti-corruption programme in cooperation with the Serbian authorities, both at the national and local levels.
