Call on international community to protect Serbs in Kosovo

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said that this morning's attack on a Serbian house in Gorazdevac, where there were children, is an attack on the entire Serbian people in Kosovo-Metohija.

Vucic said at a press conference held after a meeting of the Nordic Business Alliance, that the attack is bad news for all Serbs in the province and that he expects a serious approach of responsible international representatives.
He said that today he will hold talk with several foreign officials and added that international actors are expected to take measures in accordance with their obligations to protect the Serbs in that part of Metohija, but also in the whole province.
The Serbian government will send a delegation to visit the Serbs in Gorazdevac, said the Prime Minister and announced that he will soon visit the municipality and other places in Kosovo-Metohija.
Vucic sent a message of encouragement to Serbs living in Kosovo to stay in their homes, and added that the task of the government of Serbia is to ensure their safety.
Vucic announced that Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic cannot remain a minister after making a rude comment to a female B92 reporter.
We have to protect women in Serbia, Vucic told reporters, adding that we must build a decent, fair and sucessful Serbia.
He also sent an apology to the journalist of TV B92 on behalf of the entire Serbian government.
