In an interview for Banja Luka daily "Nezavisne Novine", Vucic said that anything else would be simply irrational.
Responding to the question whether the future relations between Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina will be measured by what happened in Potocari, he pointed out that this will not happen, and that these relationships will be much better in the future.
The Prime Minister stated that everything that happened in Srebrenica was very bad and unpleasant for him, and added that he now wants with even more passion, energy, perseverance and strength to approach the solving of regional problems and to turn everything towards the future.
You know, with us Serbs, as well as with the Bosniaks, the biggest shame is not to host your guest in the best possible way, not to show hospitality, but I also think that many would now give it all to be able to change everything that has happened, Vucic stated.
Referring to the campaign which had been led days before the event in Potocari over the Resolution on Srebrenica or the arrest of Naser Oric, Vucic noted that it certainly contributed to a wrong opinion in the political public of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
We need to overcome all this, the Serbian Prime Minister stated and added that he is particularly pleased for having seen that many Bosniaks understand very well his sincere intentions and truly regret all that happened.
Also, Vucic said that after being attacked in Potocari, he could have reacted in a much different way and that no one could blame him for that.
But my job is not to have personal reactions, but to lead the government of a beautiful country and do all that I can so that we could leave in peace, stability and economic progress. But without political stability we cannot have economic progress. I guess everyone understands that, the Prime Minister pointed out.
He announced that the Serbian government will build a school in Srebrenica, which will be discussed with the authorities, especially with Mayor of Srebrenica Camil Durakovic, with the Mothers of Srebrenica, but also with the Serbs and others who live there.
We want to know what they need the most and Serbia will give them that, Vucic concluded.
