In an interview to today’s issue of Croatian daily "Jutarnji list", on the eve of his arrival to the inauguration of the new president of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, Vucic underlined that the relations between the two countries are difficult and complicated, but that he is bringing a message of peace.
He added that the decision to come to the inauguration was made after long thinking, first of all about the future of Serbia and the future of the region.
We have to live together with Croats, with each other and next to each other. Therefore it is very important to live in the best possible relations and to solve problems peacefully, trying to cooperate as much as possible, the Prime Minister underlined.
According to Vucic, the economic cooperation between the two countries could bring a lot, because the funds which Croatia receives from the EU could be considerably higher if the two countries presented their markets together.
Vucic told the Croatian companies that invested in Serbia that they are welcome and that their business is safe in Serbia.
Serbia is a country on the path towards the EU and it can agree on everything with Croatia. We can open the door to each other, and jointly implement many big infrastructure projects, the Prime Minister of Serbia stressed.
