Summarizing the work of the government of Serbia in the past eight months, Vucic stated that the government has worked transparently, honestly and responsibly.
He said that the government, which was formed on 27 April, is reassuring citizens that if they work hard, Serbia will become a decent country.
According to him, Serbia is an open country, a country of workers and peasants, of those who work diligently and honestly.
The government, he recalled, has set itself tough targets that should change the country, but most of all citizens, our habits and behaviour.
The Prime Minister pointed out that Serbia has become a reliable partner in the world because it has not being promising what it cannot achieve.
Vucic explained that this was achieved with a solid, stable and clearly defined policy, noting that political stability is a prerequisite for economic progress.
He said that this policy brought respect of the international community to our country and added that Serbia today is the most revered in Europe and the world in its modern history.
The Prime Minister underlined that Serbia has become a country that is completely open and very active in foreign policy.
He pointed out that First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic has had the greatest foreign policy activity in the history of Serbia.
Vucic said that as Prime Minister, in eight months, he met with 31 prime ministers, with four heads of state in Serbia and with four abroad.
He added that in Serbia he also met with two vice chancellors, five ministers of foreign affairs and two ministers of economy, and that he also took part in the UN Security Council session.
Speaking about the May floods that hit Serbia, the Prime Minister underlined that the state provided RSD 4.22 billion for 17,643 families who suffered damages from the floods.
Of that amount, 119 families received money to build houses, 173 houses were built, and the construction of 45 houses will be completed in January.
According to him, $1 billion s was spent on levees and other structures that Serbia protects against future floods and other natural disasters, while the Red Cross provided assistance of €210 for 15,000 households each.
Vucic recalled that the May floods that hit our country are the worst natural disaster in the last hundred years, and that 45 municipalities declared emergency.
The Prime Minister said that during the catastrophic floods the government stood by citizens the whole time, and recalled that he has visited Obrenovac 30 times since floods, he visited Krupanj eight times, and he made a total of 46 visits to the flooded areas.
In February this year 793, 625 were registered as unemployed, today that number is 739,044, the Prime Minister specified and explained that the number dropped by 54,581, which is 6,81%.
He added that next year, despite difficult measures, the unemployment must not exceed 20%.
