In an interview with the Itar-Tass news agency, Vucic said that Serbia received $800 million worth of credits from the Russian Railways to modernise and develop its internal railway infrastructure.
We have already spent $91 million, he said noting that the Belgrade-Pancevo railway line is a good example of this cooperation.
Vucic said he believes that Russia and Serbia could significantly advance their relations.
We have good political and economic ties and we are developing them. Naturally, we can make our relations incomparably better in all other spheres of public life, Vucic said in conclusion.
Speaking on the export of Serbian products on the Russian market, Vucic said that Russia is a very demanding market, adding that Serbia is able to meet the highest European standards.
Serbia's goal, he said, is to attract Russian investors, especially in the field of fruit, vegetables and meat, to make smaller factories that process raw materials and could export to Russia, but also in EU countries, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Belarus.
