We said clearly that dialogue is status-neutral and we have not done anything to signal or taken any formal activity that would lead to the recognition of independence, Dacic said at a regular monthly press conference at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He recalled that in the talks that are held under the auspices of the European Union, we can come to a compromise status-neutral in character, which will lead to improvements in the conditions in which people live and work in Kosovo.
The First Deputy Prime Minister said that Serbia will continue to retain a constructive approach to dialogue with the provisional institutions of government in Pristina.
He also said that a joint meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Economy in the Western Balkans and EU representatives will be held in October in Belgrade.
It will be attended by representatives of the interim institutions in Pristina, and Kosovo will be presented in accordance with the
Agreement regarding regional representation and cooperation, with an asterisk and footnote.
That is the name without prejudice to the status and is in accordance with UN Security Council Resolution 1244.
Commenting on a report of the American prosecutor Clint Williamson on human organ trafficking in Kosovo, he said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs supports this document.
The objective report of the prosecutor gives our country a reason to believe that an investigation into the murder and organ trafficking will not be stopped, he said.
The First Deputy Prime Minister expressed the hope that this report will contribute to the fact that the issue of serious crimes will be transferred from the legal arena, as well as to the establishment of the court to deal with the allegations of the report and on the basis of these indictments is not delayed.
