First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic spoke today with US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland, who told him that her country supports the ambitious reform plan of the Serbian government and the continuation of dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.

Speaking at a press conference held after the meeting, Dacic called for further development and improvement of relations between the two countries, and highlighted that relations with Washington are one of the priorities of the foreign policy of Serbia.
Serbia's interest is to be a factor of peace and stability in the region, as well as a serious political factor next year when it takes over the chairmanship of the OSCE, he said.
The First Deputy Prime Minister said that it is important that there are relations of mutual trust between Serbia and the United States.
Nuland stated that the United States are interested in a full normalisation of relations between Belgrade and Pristina.
