Government preparing best incentive package in this part of Europe

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic announced the implementation of four measures to promote the Serbian economy, increase the number of employees and encourage investments in our country.

Vucic said in an interview with the Nedeljnik magazine that the first measure will be subsidised loans in the amount €1.2 billion for the private sector, which should enable the state to partially help the economy and reduce expenses.
In order to compensate for that with the banks, the state will assist the banking sector with €60 million, he explained.
The second package of measures should assist in curbing the grey economy and boosting employment. It entails that the companies with 3-4 employees, in case of hiring another one, will only be paying 30% of his contributions, while the state will pay the rest.
According to Vucic, for companies employing over 100 workers the state will cover 75% of the expenses.
Jobs for tens of thousands of people will be thus solved, the Prime Minister explained.
Vucic said that the third measure of the economic recovery will be repairing the business environment, which is essentially an important measure for our country.
He said that the laws on privatisation, bankruptcy and labour will next week enter the parliamentary procedure.
Vucic said that the government will create the best investment incentive packages in this part of Europe.
The Prime Minister said that the fourth measure refers to cheap apartments and solving the problems in the construction industry, which has recorded the largest decline year-in-year-out.
The implementation of all these measures will start immediately because there is no more time to wait. What follows is the decision of the government of Serbia to adopt these measures, which is expected on 12 May, Vucic concluded.
