Serbian Olympic representatives depart for London

The Serbian Olympic team – 120 members of Serbia’s Olympic delegation – departed today for London where they will take part in this year’s Olympic Games.

The team includes volleyball and handball players, tennis and table tennis players, cyclists, swimmers, rowers, water polo players and judokas.
Serbian shooters have already arrived at the Olympic Village, as well as Serbia’s finest tennis player Novak Djokovic who is training together with Britain’s Andy Murray at Wimbledon.
Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic today presented the Olympic team with a Serbian national flag which will be held by Novak Djokovic at the opening ceremony.
Nikolic wished the best of luck to the athletes, telling them that the entire Serbia will be cheering for them.
The Serbian delegation promised to give their best at the Olympics.
Serbia will have 115 representatives at the Olympic Games who will compete in 15 sports.
The London Olympics will be held from 27 July to 12 August.
