Barna recorded a time of 21.37 seconds in the final, setting a new national and personal record with this result.
Russian swimmer Egor Kornev also won the silver medal, recording the same time as Barna in the final.
The gold medal went to Ukraine’s Nikita Sheremet, who won with a time of 21.13 seconds.
