The Serbian coaxed quad won the gold medal in U-23 men’s coaxed four at the World Championship in Lithuania.

The quad comprising Aleksandar Filipovic, Jovan Jovanovic, Luka Djordjevic, Igor Lucic and Mateja Josic won the race by arriving in 6:34.13 minutes ahead of the teams from the US (6:35.42), New Zealand (6:37.87), France (6:38.88), Australia (6:39.65) and Germany (6:47.20).
The defending champions managed to retain the gold medal which they won last year in Amsterdam when they also broke a five-year old world record.
