Federer halts Djokovic in Wimbledon semi-finals

The world’s no. 1 tennis player Novak Djokovic failed to enter the finals of the Wimbledon Championships after being defeated today in semi-finals by Swiss Roger Federer with 6:3, 3:6, 6:4, 6:3.

This is Djokovic’s 15th defeat against Federer, which brought into question his ATP position number 1 if Federer wins Wimbledon on 8 July, which would be his seventh Wimbledon title.
It is interesting that this was their first match played on grass.
In the finals Federer will play against the winner of the match between Andy Murray (Great Britain) and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (France).
