Djokovic decorated with Order of Karadjordje’s Star First Class

Belgrade, 14 February 2012

On the occasion of Statehood Day, Serbian President Boris Tadic decorated 17 meritorious individuals and institutions, among them the world’s finest tennis player Novak Djokovic, with the Order of Karadjordje’s Star First Class.

Djokovic has been decorated for his exceptional merits ad accomplishments in representing Serbia as the best tennis player in the world, holder of the Sportsman of the Year 2011 title and Serbia’s best “ambassador” it the world.
