The national female tennis teams of Serbia and Belgium played tied with the result 1:1 after yesterday, the first day of the match of the first round of the world group of Fed Cup, played in the Belgian town of Charleroi.

The first point for Serbia was won by Jelena Jankovic who beat Belgium’s 2nd best Kirsten Flipkens with 7:5, 7.5.
The equalling point for Belgium was won by Yanina Wickmayer who defeated Bojana Jovanovski with 6:4, 6:4.
Today’s competition starts at 13.30 with a match between Jelena Jankovic and Yanina Wickmayer. After that, Bojana Jovanovski will meet with Kirsten Flipkens. The last on the programme will be a doubles match.
