The world’s finest tennis player Novak Djokovic has secured placement in the Australian Open for the third time in his career so far after five gruelling hours during which he edged out British Andy Murray by 3:2 (6:3, 3:6, 6:7, 6:1, 7:5).

In the final match, scheduled for 29 January, Djokovic will take on Spain’s Rafael Nadal in his attempt to claim the third Melbourne title, and his fifth grand slam trophy.
This will be the 30th encounter between Djokovic and Nadal. The Spaniard is in the lead with 16:13, but Djokovic has had the upper hand during the last six matches, all in the finals.
