Serbia’s handball team enters 2nd phase of European championship

Serbia’s national handball team played last night at Hala Pionir in Belgrade against the team of Slovakia with a 21:21 draw (13:6), in the final third round of Group A of the European championship.

Serbia had previously secured qualification in the second phase of the championship, to which it will carry over four points after victories over Poland and Denmark, while Slovakia dropped out of further competition.
Serbia’s next match is against Germany on 21 January, followed by matches against Sweden and Macedonia.
