Serbia’s water polo team comes in second at Samaridis Cup

The Serbian water polo team came in second at the Samaradis Cup tournament after beating last night the local Greek selection in the last, third round, with the result 8:3 (3:0, 2:1, 1:1, 2:1).
The winner of the tournament on the Greek island of Chios is Montenegro which won Spain, and it got the trophy thanks to a better goal difference than Serbia. The third place went to Spain and the fourth to Greece.
On 14 January Serbian water polo players are travelling to Eindhoven in the Netherlands, which will host the European Championship from 16 to 29 January.
In the continental championship Serbia will play in Group B with Croatia, Montenegro, Romania, Spain and Germany.
