Djokovic triumphed at the US Open Championship in New York after defeating in the finals Spaniard Rafael Nadal with 6:2, 6:4, 6:7 (3:7), 6:1.

This is Djokovic’s 64th victory this season and fourth Grand Slam title, the first US Open title and his 28th ATP trophy in his career.
