Serbian team wins gold at World Rowing Championship in Amsterdam

Belgrade/Amsterdam, 23 July 2011

The Serbian four-member team with the pilot won today the gold medal at the World Rowing under 23 Championship in Amsterdam and beat the world record with the time 6:03.01 minutes.

Our team composed of Veselin Savic, Jovan Jovanovic, Igor Lucic, Luka Djordjevic (pilot Mateja Josic) in today’s final defeated the teams of Germany, France, New Zealand, Great Britain and the US.
