Serbia’s tennis players to participate in World Team Cup in Dusseldorf

The current winner of the tennis Davis Cup, the Serbian national team, will participate in the World Team Cup in Dusseldorf that will be held from 15 to 21 May, it was announced today by the organisers of the cup.
The Serbian team, which won this competition in 2009, will include Viktor Troicki, Janko Tipsarevic and Nenad Zimonjic, who were playing in the final match of the Davis Cup against France in early December last year.
Zimonjic recalled that the victory of the Serbian team in the 2009 World Cup was its first great victory.
Apart from Serbia, participants in the World Team Cup in Dusseldorf will be national teams of the US, Spain, Switzerland, France, Croatia, Germany and last year’s winner, Argentina.
