The Serbian national tennis team has achieved its second triumph in Group A in Hopman Cup in Perth, with Novak Djokovic defeating Lleyton Hewitt in straight sets with 2:0 (6:2, 6:4) to give 2:0 lead to Serbia.

Earlier today Ana Ivanovic pocketed the hard-fought first set against Alicia Molik to give one set lead to Serbia against Australia after fending off a few break points (6:4, 6:0).
After the doubles’ match, scheduled for today, the final result of the duel between Serbia and Australia will be known.
Serbia has two victories in Group A so far, while Australia and Belgium have scored one each.
In the next round on 6 January the Serbian team will engage Belgium.
