FSS abandons appeal against sentence following Genoa football match riots

The Serbian Football Association (FSS) announced today that it will not challenge the sentence for the hooliganistic behaviour of fans at the game against Italy in Genoa on 12 October.
The disciplinary commission of the European Football Union fined the FSS €120,000.
Also the Serbian national team will play their next match in the Euro 2012 championship qualifiers on 25 March 2011 against Northern Ireland in Belgrade without the presence of spectators.
